At Planet.A Boutique, we pride ourselves on celebrating the rich talent found across Scotland, particularly here in Edinburgh. Our mission is to create a more sustainable, mindful shopping experience by working with local artists and makers who share our commitment to eco-consciousness.
Each of our almost 40 artisans brings something unique to the table, from intricate jewelry to handcrafted home goods, all while keeping sustainability at the forefront.
We intentionally keep only a select range of our products available online. This is because we believe in fostering a more personal connection with our customers—something that can only truly be experienced when visiting the Boutique in person. The atmosphere, from the carefully curated music to the inviting scents, and the ability to touch and feel the products, adds layers to the experience that are impossible to replicate online. Additionally, by limiting postage, we reduce the environmental impact associated with shipping, aligning with our commitment to sustainability and mindful consumption.
Jewelry and Accessories with a Purpose
We believe that jewelry can be more than just an adornment—it can tell a story. Amaury Auvray crafts beautiful pieces from old silver spoons, transforming them into wearable art that carries history. Sade Foley, with her macramé earrings, uses leftover materials to give waste a new lease on life. Nanajon draws inspiration from Uzbek patterns to create stunning, eco-friendly home goods, while Szilver Ceramics produces one-of-a-kind ceramics, from adorable animal sculptures to functional mugs with a distinctive flair. Biscocho also offers ceramics that warm any space with their cozy designs. Anne Bulmer combines photography with abstract art, creating brooches and other objects from recycled materials. And the Argonauts craft unique pieces like mirrors and lampshades from found and repurposed objects, proving that sustainability and design can go hand in hand. Emporium Julium crafts everyday ceramic objects using materials sourced from Scotland, while Owlio Handmade sews the cutest products in the shop—all by hand. Dolly Art Creation finds inspiration in mandalas, creating objects that are both spiritual and sustainable. Molatech offers a collection of objects made by individuals in challenging circumstances, highlighting the power of craft to change lives.

At Planet.A, we also create and design our own products. Amaury Auvray, in addition to his jewelry, works with Pirko Edes to design unique games that are not only fun to play but also sustainable.
